Our strategy is to secure high-potential ground and projects in Botswana’s most prospective mineral belts, with an initial emphasis on copper and associated strategic minerals. We combine extensive African operational experience with advanced geological interpretation, geospatial analytics and AI-driven prospectivity modelling to identify targets with scale potential.

The Botswana Minerals approach to exploration is disciplined and pragmatic, focusing on the best geology, prioritising proven mineralised belts, and maintaining a strong field presence. Data informs decisions, but discovery is made on the ground. These principles require technical rigour, capital discipline and lean overhead structures, together with a considered acceptance of geological and operational risk in pursuit of superior opportunity.

As a junior explorer, Botswana Minerals is nimble and opportunistic. We secure prospective licences early, advance them through systematic exploration, and expand our capabilities through joint ventures with larger partners who contribute capital, specialist expertise and technology.

Botswana is our home jurisdiction and the foundation of our strategy. It is one of the world’s most stable and mining-friendly environments, underpinned by established infrastructure and a strong regulatory framework. Our licences are located within highly prospective terranes, including extensions of the Damaran Belt and related mineral systems.
